Status report of Jans arm.

Pieter adds a piece of duct tape to try and prevent the nails from escaping. And it worked fine: we didn't lose a nail today.

Some bricks for extra stability.

End of the trip is just behind the pond. Alas, the thing dropped into the pond before recovery. Must be Murphy's law again.

Some biology now. However, my English biology vocabulary is insufficient to elaborate on this subject; suffice to say that those little brown things will grow into wasps. Or something like that. Heck, we're rocket scientists, not biologists :-)

This 2 liter bottle will be launched using Pieters launcher (the small white one). Because it's so small, the bricks are really necessary here to prevent the construction from tumbling over when the rope is pulled.

This 1.5 liter bottle is fully pressurized but refuses to take off! (The 2 liter bottle you also see here is there by accident and has nothing to do with the situation. Really.) After very careful manipulation of the thing, we managed to depressurize it.
