This is our new rocket. Ingredients: two 1.5 liter bottles and lots of tape.

Alas, the bottle leaks a bit when pressurized.

You can't see that clearly on the pictures, but Jan can.

However it lifts off at about 2 bar (more pumping did not give us more pressure because of the leaks). Interesting is that this large rocket lifts off much slower than the little ones. Nice stable flight though.

We decide to try to fix the leaks with silicone mastic.

Silicone mastic is really dirty stuff. Since the tube only has a nozzle of about 10cm, we tried to add a piece of tubing to be able to reach the middle of our rocket. Alas, in this way we only wrecked the silicone tube and silicone started to come out of its back side.

What a mess, what a mess. Oh yeah, and it stinks too :-) And all that in the name of science ...
