Alpha, beta, gamma
As used at the Ghent University:
- Alpha faculties: arts and philosophy, law, economics and business administration, psychology and educational sciences, political and social sciences
- Beta: sciences, applied sciences (= engineering), bioscience engineering
- Gamma: medicine and health sciences, veterinary medicine, pharmaceutical sciences
However, elsewhere on the web, completely different meanings are given to alpha, beta and gamma sciences.

- choose (kiezen), chose (koos), chosen (gekozen). ``*choosen'' bestaat dus niet.

both forms are equivalent
- Proof terminology:
statement (gestelde; dat wat men wil bewijzen)
