This year's Abel Prize LaureateThe Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters has decided to award the Abel Prize for 2011 to John MilnorInstitute for Mathematical Sciences, Stony Brook University, New York «for pioneering discoveries in topology, geometry and algebra.»
