Launchers used at the HAPRRL
Our very first launcher. Simple but very effective if the pressure is not too high.
This launcher is rather over-engineered: too complicated and hence somewhat unreliable.
This launcher keeps the bottle in place using a rope.
A few days later, we added some guidance planks because the ropes have
a tendency to pull the bottle in all kinds of wrong directions.
This one is based on the popular NASA design.
