Registration

The school will start on Monday September 18th around 9.00h and end on Friday September 22nd afternoon, not later than 17.00h. The proximity of Brussels airport (30 minutes by direct train from the train station near the campus) makes an evening flight on Friday September 22nd possible.

Registration is possible through the online registration form. The registration fee of 210 euro includes lunches from Monday - Friday, coffee breaks, conference package, and social dinner. Please indicate through the registration form also if you are interested to give a contributed talk. Participants who whish to register a social dinner for accompanying persons can do so by choosing social dinner only instead of participant in the registration form.

Accomodation

Accomodation has to be arranged by the participants individually. However, we have been informed that a limited number of rooms are available on campus at the U-residence, this is a private hotel located on campus. Rooms can be booked at a reduced fee of 60 euro per night, using a voucher. The organizers can provide a voucher for each available room upon request. We will do so until all rooms are booked, based on a first come, first serve basis. The U-residence does not provide breakfast, but breakfast can be taken from Monday - Friday at the cafeteria of the university from 7:30 on.

Other possibilities to book accomodation at walking distance of campus are available in some nearby hotels. One of the closets is the Aparthotel Adagio Access Brussels Delta. The university made a long term arrangement with this hotel. To use a reduced fee, a booking request has to be made by e-mail, mentioning your participation at a summerschool on the campus of VUB, and that you would like to book accommodation using VUB-corporate rates. It is possible to book studios hosting up to 4 people. More information can be found on the website of this hotel.

Resources

The lecture notes will be collected in a volume, available electronically and in printed version at the start of the summer school. We will make available slides and abstracts of the contributed talks as well.

The template to submit an abstract for a contributed talk is available here.
